Here are a few tips that would help you train your baby Rottweiler puppies.

Start When The Baby Rottweiler Puppies Have Yet To Reach Adulthood

Use The Right Kind of Commands For Your Puppies

Your Rottie puppies aren’t scholars from Harvard that you would unnecessarily complicate your commands. Tell them what you want them to do in simple commands and see how they do it before you. Don’t ever raise your voice- make it calm and composed. Make your puppies feel at ease.

You Have To Be Consistent With Your Rottweilers

Your baby Rottweiler puppies might not have the best attention span. It is at this point that you need to be consistent in your efforts. Make sure to go over the same commands until they know exactly what to do. Also, don’t forget to give them treats when they do it good.

Training Them To Not Bite

The first thing you need to do is train your baby Rottweiler puppies to not bite. At an age when they are easily excitable and prone to nipping, you need to cut it at the roots. Every time they nip you, tell them ‘No Bite’, and mock yelp in pain. You could also try leaving the room, for it will give them the sign that biting would lead to the end of the game.

Don’t Take Too Much Time While Training

Make sure that your training session with your puppies takes as much as 20 minutes to complete. In these twenty minutes, you need to teach them 5 basic commands, which you can spread over 15 repetitions. Remember, consistency is key.

If you can teach your baby Rottweiler puppies perfectly, your Rottie will be a model dog when they grow up. It is for you and your Rottweiler puppy’s benefit.
